The House on Hilltop Farm BLOG is a record of the progress on a home we are building ourselves. We bought the land in 2007, and started building the house in 2010. We lived in one room, 550 square feet, in the basement while we built the house above us. We moved on the main level of the house in February 2016. We decided blogging is the best way to record our journey. I'm glad to have you join me.

Roof trusses done - now
The framers "stick-built" most of the trusses. The only trusses we ordered finished were for the garage. The garage is to the left in this picture, with the osb leaning against it.
They lifted the trusses up there with a crane, but I missed it. Only took an hour.

ReplyDeleteI'm going to head that way as soon as this storm is over and see if it's still standing. They spotted a tornado 4.5 miles North of Kokomo. Chrysler (ITP II) had to stop work and take cover.
