We've been shoveling a place so we can get out of our 'studio' apartment, every time it snows.
And apparently....
all of this snow was too heavy for our patio.
The other day I was sitting at the table, on my computer, and I heard the oddest noise....
Twas the patio, cracking in half.
Dave said, "well you like the Tuscan look, you got it."
I said, "Bummer"
Cindy
BUMMER is right. :( hug B
ReplyDeleteDagnabbit Cindy Bee! *hugs*
ReplyDeleteMaybe plant some creeping thyme in the crack? Just think how lovely it will smell.
Holy cow! I can't imagine that happening from the snow! Oh... bummer is right!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. We live in Canada for 6 months and Yuma AZ for 6 months. Now retired, have no interest in shovelling snow anymore. Yes, you should go to Vegas for a snow break!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking pretty much along the same lines as your husband, "they have the Tuscan look " and then I read what he said. It will be so pretty in the spring and summer, especially if you stuff little creeping thyme plants into the cracks.
ReplyDeleteI know how you feel about that crack in the nice pretty new patio:::we poured a driveway front to the garage (sure it has a name for it) and when we finally saw the cement from some snow;::yup Mother Nature did it to us;::nice crack and Ralph thought he had done it all the right way so NO cracks for years at least:::: grrrrrr
ReplyDeletethe cuz
Oh my, as an Australian who has only ever really seen snow once (and that was in Scotland), it never occurred to me that that could happen. Bummer indeed!
