The House on Hilltop Farm

The House on Hilltop Farm BLOG is a record of the progress on a home we are building ourselves. We bought the land in 2007, and started building the house in 2010. We lived in one room, 550 square feet, in the basement while we built the house above us. We moved on the main level of the house in February 2016. We decided blogging is the best way to record our journey. I'm glad to have you join me.

About Me

My photo
Bee Lady
I'm 61! I'm married and we are heading for our 25th anniversary! I'm no longer a beekeeper, even though my blog title says I am. I like to read, craft, and garden. And I'm a plant lady. We still have our little boy dog with the girl name. Dixie. I still have Coral Belle, but she has moved! I am taking a break from the "bee lady" blog, but have started blogging again on the house blog (August 2019). Click on the house link on this page to get to the house on hilltop farm. Nice to meet you! Cindy
